Working with fundraising systems and databases, you will help ensure supporter information is accurate, up to date, and handled securely in line with GDPR requirements.

The role also includes supporting busy fundraising campaigns such as Ramadan, Qurbani, emergency appeals, and other seasonal initiatives. During these periods, you will help coordinate temporary staff and volunteers, assist with call centre activities, and contribute to delivering an outstanding supporter experience.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a customer service, supporter care, administration, or data processing role.

  • Experience using databases and maintaining accurate records.

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and empathetically.

  • Excellent administrative and organisational abilities with strong attention to detail.

  • Fast and accurate data entry skills.

  • Good levels of numeracy and confidence handling financial information.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of data protection principles and GDPR requirements.

  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team.

  • A genuine commitment to delivering excellent supporter experiences.

  • Empathy with and commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Islamic Relief.

Desirable

  • Experience working within the charity or fundraising sector.

  • Experience using supporter or CRM databases such as Raiser's Edge.

  • Experience supporting volunteers or temporary staff.

  • Understanding of fundraising and donor care processes.
