Working with the Raiser's Edge database and other fundraising systems, you will help ensure supporter information is accurate, secure, and up to date.

The role also provides valuable support during major fundraising campaigns and emergency appeals, including Ramadan, Qurbani, orphan sponsorship campaigns, and humanitarian emergencies. You will contribute to the efficient operation of the Supporter Relations Unit through strong administration, donor stewardship, data management, and supporter engagement activities.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a customer service, supporter care, administration, or data-processing role.
  • Experience working with databases and maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for supporter care.

  • The ability to prioritise workloads, multitask effectively, and work to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A strong empathy with the aims, values, and mission of Islamic Relief Worldwide.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a charity, fundraising, or supporter relations environment.
  • Experience using Raiser's Edge or a similar CRM/database system.
  • Experience supporting, supervising, or working alongside volunteers.
  • Understanding of fundraising operations and donor stewardship activities.
